I look forward to using the knowledge and skills you have shown me to continue to achieve a high standard of care in the community.”

Kelsea Godfrey (Exeter)

“I knew I wanted to become a self-employed carer but did not know how to go about it. I then accessed a Community Catalyst program, which supported me in setting up my own enterprise. Simon took me step-by-step through the necessary policies and procedures, explained the legal context including taxes and discussed promotion and marketing. There was time to reflect on values such as confidentiality and safeguarding and I did all this all at my own pace .The course gave me the confidence to be more professional and to launch my business.”

Dani De Beaumont

“Going through the  Community Catalyst’s training helped me to widen my knowledge of care’s legislations and create a more professional approach with new and established clients. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to follow this path”.

Marco Mazza

“Just want to say thank you for your help and time over the last few weeks.

Without your help and guidance I wouldn’t have had the confidence to become a microprovider (P.A.) Your programme structure was very helpful and easy to work through, and the follow up emails were useful when I needed encouragement or reminding of what I needed to do, to make sure that my micro enterprise is set up in the correct way.”

Linda Roberts

“Simon convinced me of the value to me and my clients of getting my business organised. He was right! Getting my portfolio together has given me a much better understanding of the responsibility i have to my clients in regard to their safety, well being, privacy and rights to confidentiality. He helped me find the right insurance to suit my needs and put me onto NACAS who helped me get my enhanced DBS. I now feel much better equipped and knowledgeable to provide my clients with the professional service they deserve.”
