Disability Focus can assist individuals to live independently by offering additional services that would help those who are not in receipt of a direct payment.

We offer an appointee service to claim and manage benefit entitlement. The client is normally referred to Disability Focus via a social worker or in special circumstances the individual may refer themselves.

When the referral is received by Disability Focus an initial meeting will be arranged with the client to understand the circumstances of the client’s requirements and the possible services that the charity could offer.

Following the initial meeting conclusions, should the client wish to proceed, Disability Focus will begin the process of opening a designated bank account unique to the client and will work in conjunction with them to see that the client is in receipt of all the relevant benefits available to them.
